I'm pretty excited about this pick...potentioal to be the greatest power hitter in Rs history , easily. Also throws near 100 mph just in case he can't lay off pro junk. Could be REAL exciting hitting behind BW Jr.

My suggestion is to not eat dinner with your plate on the keyboard while typing. Greatest power hitter in ROYALS history...which is a pretty low bar. Not even sure who that woud be.

Well Salvy is gonna try to make a run at 300 I think, George had a little more than 300, Sweeny was around 200 believe.

He's does everything well except strike out a little too much. Three true outcomes player with speed and an arm.

When it comes to ranking the Royals power hitters, Brett, Sweeney, and Salvy are the only ones with long tenures. Short term, great season or few season power hitters include Tartabull, Bo Jackson, Gaetti, and I've already forgotten Soler's 48! Moose's 38 deserves credit, since he had some gib playoff HRs. Forgot Dean Palmer's 34 too.

I think Salvy gets the nod.
