It might be time to have a talk about Travis Kelce

He looks old and tired. I'm afraid we're seeing a very steep decline from one of the best TEs in NFL history.

Kelce's clearly in decline and nearing the end of his career. Doesn't mean he has nothing left to give, though. The guy showed up when it counted in the playoffs last year despite a lackluster regular season where he was saving himself. He still has significant value to us (just not so much in September regular games).

We can agree to disagree. It's just what I see.

If I'm correct it will suck not seeing him and Patrick ride off into the sunset together.

And just for the record: "I'll bet a months salary" was TIC.

He started kind of slow last season. I think he'll be fine.

I'll bet a month's salary this is his last season.

He wants to see if he can be on the 3-peat team. I love him as much as you but the guy just doesn't have the fire and he's beat up and turns 35 next month. Did I mention he's set for life and has no reason to get beat up anymore?
He will be there down the stretch when it’s important but I do agree this might be his final season.

I thought he looked old picking himself up off the field last year.

Not sure what you guys expect.

He should obviously pick his spots. Nothing wrong with that.

And yes, playoffs is what matters.

He already declined last year, the superhero effort he put on in the playoffs is not something we're going to get weekly in the regular season anymore.

Lou almost always does this to Kelce. Sometimes you just tip your cap to the other sidelines. Prime Derwin would do the same thing.

I thought Mahomes passes last week were especially sharp, the best ever, but not as much today. Like some others have said, it was only the second game.

As far as Kelce, remember when they used to prevent boxers from getting laid while training for a fight? Maybe Kelce is getting too much Swift action?

Yeah this is not an ideal matchup for kelce. Never was.

He is not what he once was. But kelce at 75% is still a top tier TE. He will be fine but we just aren’t going to lean on him like we have in the past.
