Business Wars is good as well. Provides a several part history of various business rivalries. Netflix/Blockbuster, Coke/Pepsi, Nike/Adidas, Marvel/DC. There was a good one on the newspaper industry, airlines, video game consoles, McDonals/Burger King, the USFL, Ferrari/Lamborghini...
And there's a TON of content. I have no idea how they churn it out as frequently as they do but there are probably 300 episodes. I'd find a topic in there you're interested in and give it a spin; it'll let you know if you want to keep listening anyway. |

Taking out the Chiefs pods and Joe Rogan bc he’s the GOAT.
I love hearing history and science. I’ll listen to anything with Neil DeGrasse Tyson as a guest bc he’s interesting as hell (listen to his story about Columbus and the Indians ). Here are some other ones that are very interesting: Ear Hustle-real stories about life in San Quentin Prison. The Fall of Civilizations-history In Our Time-history Cold-true crime Can’t recommend The Fall of Civilazations enough. It’s really good and very interesting. |

They **** around too much. Kinda cringe at times. But it did lead me to "Lights Out", which is more my flavor for that sort of content. Though at times they annoy me with their pussified, liberal view points that they inject at the end of some of their pods. |

Just easier to second these (or third) as I listen to these off/on again as the mood strikes as well.

"Serial Killers" is a good one for true crime. They get into the details w/o going too far. Some pods get so detailed with that stuff it just starts to feel like murder porn.

Hard to imagine someone I disagree with more on several political and social topics, but Jim Cornette is extremely entertaining. His perspective and knowledge of pro wrestling history is fascinating. He’s hilarious too.

outside of the obvious chiefs stuff I enjoy Brohio podcast. It's two dumbasses telling true crime, paranormal and mystery stuff. A lot of crude humor, its not for everyone. Tales from the dark and expanded perspectives are good too.

This is Actually Happening.
People recount crazy experiences that they've had in their lives: I was a drug mule, I was held in an Iranian prison, my plane was hijacked, etc etc. It can be very dark but also inspiring. And it helps to put life into context and recenter me sometimes. |
