I mean I like that trade for the Eagles, you put a guy with 1st round talent in that group...the idea is Dotson's skills, route running, quickness etc can be used really well in a slot role and also being the 5th option in an offense is going to get him better matchups.
It's a solid move on the Eagles part, Washington though, it's weird to give up on a guy who was a 1st round pick 2 years ago when you're breaking in a rookie QB. |

Philly better win the SB this year or next because that house of cards is due to fall pretty quickly.

Aikuk will end up in Washington…Adam Peters has connections to SF and Daniels and Aiyuk are great friends.

So is there a defensive end equivalent to this for us out there?

I initially thought it was too bad. We didn’t make this trade, but then I realized there’s no way he would’ve beaten out rice, brown, or worthy. And we’re going to run a lot of double tight end sets as well.
So definitely a good trade for Philadelphia because they needed a WR three. But not a trade we should’ve made. |

I'd imagine Albert Breer saying they'll be looking at vet DE's would have come from the FO somewhere. |

Worth a shot for Philly. Might not work out but if it does it could pay big dividends. Def reminds me of the Toney trade

“Interactions between Sirianni and (Jalen) Hurts during practice this spring and summer have appeared limited. While (new offensive coordinator Kellen) Moore shepherds the offense -- a walkie-talkie in hand to call in the plays to the quarterback -- Sirianni bounces from station to station… There was only one observed moment between Sirianni and Hurts -- a high-five initiated by Sirianni as the two passed by one another when Hurts was on his way to the huddle.“ “Addressing the media on the final day of minicamp in early June, Hurts was asked about Sirianni: What have you noticed about Nick being open-minded to change up the offense like he has? What does that say about him? Hurts, who learned how to de-thorn even the most pointed queries during his time at Alabama under Nick Saban, offered a response that could be seen as a match to kindling. "Um," he said, followed by a pause and a short closed-mouth laugh. "I mean, that's a great question. I don't know that I know the answer to it." |
