*****Severe Weather Thread-2020*****
Many may know-I am a weather watcher. I have a weather station at school that posts to many weather services. Also have a website with a Twitter account. (with a Chiefs list)
Below is the Windy.com map. I centered it on KC but it can be moved to where you are located. Or go to Windy.com-there is also an app. Very versatile and tons of possibilities. This map is fully functional for the viewer. Some have already had severe weather-where as I am looking at 5 inches of snow for Easter. Yeah, we seem to be missing most of it here.

It got up to 70 today in Denver, and I think we're getting 4 inches of snow tomorrow.

There are a lot of options on it too. If you are interested in a surface map-it only shows the L and H pressure. Not the fronts. But the wind button can really show where the fronts are. I can usually find a personal weather web page from someone on the weather forum. |

Still early, but so far the system in the South is resembling the April 2011 outbreak.

The worst of ours came through about 9am. Other than a shitload ofrain and a lot of lightening, it wasn't bad as far as storms go. I just took the dog for a walk and it's a really nice day now.
