This is a really good breakdown of how Mahomes has improved this year.

This is that throw Patrick made to Hardman against Carolina. 95% of QBs in the NFL aren't throwing this ball down the field. Wow.

Saccopoo was before his time. When the Chiefs hired Andy Reid (the weeks before they traded for Alex Smith) he got a lot of flack for his Geno love, but the criticism at that point wasn't about Geno as a prospect but about how the Air Raid is going to work married with the WCO. Saccopoo was adamant about the Air Raid's future in the NFL, starting with short passing concepts of the WCO and evolving into something much bigger. People at the time really gave him shit for it.
Some probably agreed with him, sure. But for the most part, it was a bombardment on Saccopoo in the draft forum. Well... I mean, wrong QB. But 100% correct sentiment. He'd be delighted as **** to be watching Andy evolve his offense into Mahomes' skillset right now. |

The offense had really worked on stretching a defense horizontally till they broke. If you look at Alex Smith in it he had most of it down. The counter to Reid's offense was right in Pittsburgh's wheelhouse. Attack as fast as you can, shoot through the gaps. And all you had to do was leave a few spots deep downfield that few QB's have the arm to hit. Enter Mahomes as the counter to the counter. With his rocket arm he can hit any of those vertical shots too and now defenses are left with... |

Mahomes purchased the "Rainbow" Rolex Daytona and was seen wearing it recently. Retail price, $96,000. He wore a Rolex Yacht-Master at the Super Bowl Parade and a GMT Master at the Ring Ceremony. I believe he has an additional Yacht-Master as well. |

Mahomes is back on pace for 5,000 yards after this game. Needs to average 300 ypg from here on out. Which he's easily done for the past few games.

3500 yards, 30 TD, 2 INT
I'm gonna say he ends up with about 43 TD and 4800 yards. |

MVP update...
Mahomes 32 total TD and 3 total turnovers, pacing for 5,000+ yards passing Rodgers 30 total TD and 5 total turnovers, pacing for 4,600+ yards passing I am hoping the Chicago defense can give Rodgers trouble this evening. |

I am curious to see the All-22 footage on it. The defense sure seemed pretty lost on that play. Makes me wonder if Mahomes was doing some no-look eye manipulation stuff, which might help explain why the throw was not accurate. I'll give the two guys 50/50 blame on it. Not a good throw, but still catchable.
