Outside of Oklahoma, I don't see any team with a shot to go deep.

BIG 12 has not done anything the past few years in the tournament. What's changed?

The BIG 12 is competitive because Kansas is not a dominate force at the top anymore.

The guy has convictions. He thinks that this backcourt kicks ass and Ellis sucks. At least he sticks by them.

KU was blown out by an unranked Oklahoma State team and Iowa State.

They are not top 10. Not even close.

I've never said Perry Ellis sucks. He's a very skilled offensive player. What I've said he's also a horribly soft player that plays no defense and that KU will go nowhere as long as he's in a primary role on the team.

The league is tougher because Kansas has been substantially worse the past three years.

Im expecting losses on the road to Oklahoma and Texas. Hopefully we can win the conference again.

The bottom line is, if this team gets upset early again, at what point is Self on the hot seat?

Three straight years of disastrous play on the road, and continual let downs in the tournament.

This is Kansas. A winner is expected. This team needs to get it together because I'm not very confident in this group.
Cmon dude, nobody is firing a coach whos won conference 11 years in a row, has a natl title and a natl title game appearance in the last 3 seasons.

It doesn't matter if you have veterans on your team if those players aren't that good. Can't wait until they graduate.

Real fun watching Mason get torched defensively and his shots packed every drive.
Any questions?

Nah. Graham is probably a better PG than Mason. Graham as a senior is going to be potentially B12 POY. Mason just has to sack it up and get his shit together. Hes playing out of control, and being careless. I think more coaches are figuring out how to defend Mason. Just stand tall, dont foul him when in the lane and let him throw himself at inanimate defenders praying for phantom fouls.

Well FTR, it's hard to look out your piss hole when you have your head stuck up your ass.

KU is not a solid road team, at least not yet.

The issue is we have no rim protector. We have nobody to disrupt shots. If the guards get beat up top, its game over. The help defense is absolutely terrible.

Kansas' hopes and dreams come down to Mason and Graham playing lights out on the defensive side of the ball.

If they get beat, nobody is making a stop at the rim. The defense collapses, and the threes start reigning down.

I don't understand how our offense went into meltdown mode in the second half tonight. We looked GREAT in the first half and had excellent ball movement. This team has absolutely no poise under pressure or on the road and its frustrating to watch. Nobody on this team responds to adversity well, and thats a reflection of the head coach.
