In July, Kelce tried — and failed — to pass his phone number to Swift ahead of a stop on the singer's record-breaking Eras Tour.

During an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he made a bracelet for the show with the digits of his phone number on the beads.

The two-time Super Bowl champ wanted to gift the homemade jewelry to the pop star ahead of her Kansas City show at Arrowhead Stadium in July, but unfortunately for him, Swift didn't take the bait.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," Kelce explained on the podcast.

As his brother laughed, Kelce added, "She doesn't meet anybody — or at least she didn't want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show."

The pairing comes after Swift and Matty Healy's whirlwind romance came to an end in June after weeks of dating.

"It was a whirlwind romance but Taylor and Matty are now not together. Taylor broke it off with him, and it happened fast," a source told The Messenger at the time. "They had a lot of fun together, and it moved really quickly, but ultimately Taylor wanted to move on and be single."

Swift was linked to Healy in May after she and longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn broke up in April. The 12-time Grammy winner is releasing 1989 (Taylor's Version) on Oct. 27.

Funny I think this whole thing has made me kind of the opposite. Enjoy following the hoopla with Travis and her which is kinda Swiftie-ish, but she only has like 4 songs that I like or even know.

Yeah this is the "looking inward" part of all of this for me. I generally can't stand reality TV or celebrity gossip/news or any of that stuff. But given how all-in I am on the Chiefs it seems silly to judge others for loving those things. It's all entertainment. They are all just distractions from our real lives that entertain us in some way. And they also tend to involve forming communities with others who want to be distracted in whatever way we also do.

I mostly just don't understand why anyone cares about what makes other people happy. As long as they're not actually causing any harm, you do you.

Now, would I want to be best friends with someone who was that obsessive? No. But there are thousands of things people do on the internet that are weird and creepy. Loving a singer too much doesn't really register as something deserving of derision to me.

Hey I'm not judging people I spend all day on sports forums between work tasks too.

I just think it's pretty hilarious to wander into the Taylor Swift thread where people are pretty much just having a good time with this very strange and kind of sweet and unlikely relationship and combining of fan groups and saying what a bunch of WEIRDO OBSESSIVES when you have nearly 78,000 posts on a football forum but yeah they're the weirdos
