In the loss to GB he did everything he could; actually played quite well. And in the damn Giants game he was outstanding but their defense just completely no-showed it. Cousins is a very good QB. If we didn't have Mahomes, he'd be the 2nd best quarterback in franchise history. He gets killed for shit that's just not his fault because he's a cornball. But he's essentially a better version of Goff and Goff was a moron coach away from being in the SB. There's no reason at all to just write off what he can accomplish in Atlanta. |

Dude has bet on himself time and time again and has benefited greatly. I think it’s funny that the Commanders, who have not had a competent QB since they had Cousins wouldn’t negotiate a long term contract that would have provided Cousins with the stability he and every other player in the NFL desires. He made all that money because teams were stupid to not give him the same contracts they are giving guys like Danny Dimes And for not winning a playoff gam, we are so ****ing spoiled with Mahomes but that was us not long ago. The Smith led Chiefs had to basically have a perfect season to have a chance. It’s easier said than done. It’s not all all on QB. |

Cousins has earned a lot more respect from fans than he gets, IMO. He's a very good quarterback. |

Dude is as tough as nails. Did not realize it until I watched Quarterback on Netflix. Dude took a beating and ALWAYS took that extra second in the pocket to make a play even though he was going to get nuked into orbit. |

L'Jarius Sneed reiterates desire to stay with Chiefs in '24
The Chiefs cornerback says he wants to be a part of history and chase a third consecutive title. The Kansas City Chiefs entered the NFL offseason with two major questions to answer above anything else. One of those still remains. As the Chiefs approached the beginning of a new league year and free agency, the pressure was on to figure out how to handle the futures of two defensive superstars—namely, what to do with cornerback L'Jarius Sneed and defensive tackle Chris Jones. The first one was finally addressed last week with the signing of Jones to a record-setting five-year deal that should keep him in K.C. through the end of his playing career. For Sneed, however, the approach has been a bit more muddled since more options have been reportedly on the table for Sneed including a potential tag-and-trade. The Chiefs cornerback says he wants to be a part of history and chase a third consecutive title. The Chiefs locked up Jones and have now turned their attention to Sneed, who could be re-signed to a long-term deal or forced to play out a one-year deal worth just shy of $20 million. The other potential play is a tag-and-trade in which the Chiefs accept some form of compensation from an interested team that has the money to pay Sneed on a level the Chiefs cannot (or will not). On Tuesday, Sneed spoke to reporters while giving back on a local level through his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City. When asked about where he wants to play, he made it clear he'd like to remain in K.C. and said, “Two is legendary, but three? You never get tired of getting rings,” Sneed said. “Hopefully I’m with the Chiefs. Hopefully I’m still here and we can go back and repeat.” At this point, anything feels possible between the team and player. Going for a three-peat could change the Chiefs' posture to want to go "all in" on another championship run. That said, the Chiefs are loaded in the secondary with young talent, and paying a corner $20 million this season given other needs feels like a potential misallocation of resources. Then again, Sneed is such a strong asset on the team's defense that the Chiefs would be foolish not to at least try to see if keeping him is an option. https://arrowheadaddict.com/posts/l-...4-01hrt22vka5h Last edited by ForeverChiefs58; 03-12-2024 at 01:58 PM.. |

If I’m Sneed I’ve seen enough.
Sign me to a three year deal. Give me what I deserve and I’ll just go out win championships. If I were him I’d rather do that here than play in ****ing Tennessee or New Orleans |
