If you happen to contaminate the inside of your mask then put it on , your are putting yourself at higher risk , always better to leave it in place,

People are selfish and uneducated.
Correct. Dewine dropped the mask mandate due to pressure from a pretty small group of protestors. His approval rate has been 80%+. But he is very very vocal about making sure everyone knows wearing mask while not mandatory is a very very good idea.

I get if people don't want to wear masks all the time. It just defies logic to me that the same people who demand employees go back to work are the same people totally resistant to measures to keep those employees as safe as possible once they return. I support smart reopening of America and don't understand why anyone who wants that wants to die on the hill of not wearing a mask for a few minutes when you're inside a business.

we'll see how this reopening looks when customers and employees get the disease in the course of business. Businesses may be open but they're exposed to an insane amount of liability.

Here is a CDC guideline covering some of what you listed before. Honestly it makes the mask sound like more of a risk than a benefit.

Used correctly it can help , the issue is the average person doesn't use it properly (treated as sterile) hence why the initial recommendation they would not be a benefit, but with the asymptomatic spread they figured if you can get more people to wear masks it will increase the chance affected people will have them reducing shedding into the environment.

And I believe United Airlines is laying off 25% of their workforce by Oct. 1.
