Anyone else hyped for A Quiet Place...? Comes out next week.
I for one cannot wait for this...so intrigued by it. Love movies and ideas like this that take something we've seen over and over (mysterious creatures taking over) and throwing a unique spin on it. |

As for actual anticipation, all my energy is still focused on Hereditary. |

I have a love/hate relationship with horror movies. I have little tolerance for movies that merely startle me, or try to scare me with the improbable or fantastical.
But I'm always on the lookout for movies that can instill a real lasting sense of dread. That's why I've watched The Exorcist dozens of times, but barely paid anything like Freddy Kreuger or Jason any mind at all. One of those was The Witch, which although it could be plodding in parts really built a world of isolation where it injected just enough of the supernatural to make you shudder. And this comes from the same interests. |

Gosh I hope it's okay to post this - because it's pretty old now - but I just NOW saw 'Drive' and I absolutely loved it!

Saw Pacific Rim 2 this weekend.
OH YEAH! SO AWESOME! GIANT ASS KICKING ROBOTS. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Tons of action, fantastic CGI and the acting and story are good enough to not get in the way of giant CGI robots vs Monsters. |

TERRIBLE ****ING MOVIE it's like it was made before 'avatar' and they realized, yeah, we should wait fifteen years before we release this. the people today are too smart to enjoy this one. i will leave it at that |

A Quiet Place was pretty dope. Didn't rely on a lot of dialogue or gore which was quite refreshing . 8/10
