He threw a no look to Kelce in the game as well. Also his sidearm pass around the Dlineman.

What's crazy is mahomes has matured so much as a qb that people don't realize he's much better than last year. Hes not doing the scramble drill stuff as much. But that's because he doesn't have to. The comparisons to guys like DeShaun are totally insulting. Mahomes has become a surgeon at reading defenses. He's relying on his mind a lot more than his legs these days. Collinsworth has twice in the past week talking about how mahomes always seems to know where the defense makes mistakes.

The huge difference between Trubisky and mahomes isn't supporting talent (Michaels and collinsworth said that to be nice). Its that Trubisky relies on a script. Mahomes is miles ahead of the young qbs at reading a defense and going through the reads. He's doing a lot of the things that Peyton and Brady did. scary when you consider how much more physically gifted he is than them.

I just noticed something; on the PM2 running TD, look closely as to why Swartz wasn’t able to block 99 coming around the edge.....

Good eye - pretty blatant defensive holding (I think that's Mack).

DL coaches are sneaky sonsabitches. You see that called so very rarely that a lot of coaches will just teach interior rushers to do it as a matter of course if they can.

So when he had a shot at getting ahold of Mitch, he took it. And why wouldn't you? They aren't gonna call it anyway...

Been saying it since he was 18. The kid is a prodigy. Insane physical talent and a lot smarter than the shallow comparisons to Favre/Cutler. The fact he passed Andy Reid’s tests in the draft process and Reid made a huge move to get him at #10 should have been a pretty good clue to the other 10 teams (including Buffalo) that they blew it.
