This was the worry from going cheap on WR. Fir ****s sake we had guys comparing these clowns to All Pro guys and referring to Toney as a legit 1. Most disappointing regular season game in YEARS.

I don’t even know how much I can blame Veach. It seems very likely Reid wants his quick, fast, shifty guys and Veach has to find them without consideration for other types of WR in the early rounds.

I mean if that's the case may as well put Rice in the PS. Can't trust any WR drafted by Veach.

There's nothing so far to suggest he's going to work out at the NFL level. For a 2nd round pick he's currently trending toward being a big miss, especially considering that draft was supposed to be deep for WRs.

If you drafted Rice more for the JuJu role, then get him into it I say. No one has a claim to a spot in a pecking order this week.

You aren't allowed to say that. I've been saying that all offseason and clamoring to sign a WR because I don't want Kelce to get beaten into the ground by usage and/or age and also that his production WILL take a decrease at age THIRTY FOUR years old even if he will still be elite. People lost their minds in anger even mentioning any of this.

It's a good thing we traded the best performing WR from our preseason games for a huge haul of a conditional seventh round swap.

In a no Kelce game he earned a 7.7% target share that's ****ing horrible.

Skyy got zero separation against an absolute dog shit secondary. Toney got open he just failed miserably. Which is worse?

**** that. Catching a ball that hits you in the hands has nothing to do with being in sync - that's the simplest part of your job, and inexcusable to fail in that.

Skyys worse you can write Toney off as a bad game if a dude can't get open he's useless.

With how visibly angry Mahomes was getting won't be all that shocked if Veach ends up being aggressive to get another WR in off the block.

I’m with you. We don’t disband them. I’m not about that. What I am tired of is the indifferent attitude that mahomes and kelce can carry everyone. We need WRs who can do more than just feed off of kelce.

We need to build our WRs who can thrive without kelce. And maybe today was a warning sign. Skyy has to be concerning. Mvs showed he’s fine to feed off a guy but he’s always gonna be a boom/bust. I don’t want to accept that Watson is good because he’s the only adequate guy who does his job. We learned really fast how critical kelce is. He will come back and he will hide the deficiencies of the safe guys we surround him with. But after today I don’t want that. We need to find the best possible lineup who can exist with or without kelce. Today rashee in his first damn rookie snaps seemed like the most capable
