Dude, the league has been promoting the shit out of Mahomes all season. Did you miss the month long hype train leading up to this game?

But its an easy argument to make when you refuse to even consider the other facts surrounding this game... the incredibly high stakes involved with LA, the huge sums of money available, their recent track record of officiating abortions so bad it strains the credulity of "just some really bad dumbass refs" These refs were supposedly the cream of the crop Todays NFL only sees itself as owing the viewer an "entertainment experience" and nothing more... someone posted the leagues official statement about it a several years ago |

this! If it’s all rigged, why watch?
Same BS with a fake moon landing and Sandy Hook was all actors conspiracy’s, way too many people involved to pull that off. Someone would talk. If the NFL was fixed. Someone would have talked. |

It wouldn't have to involve a lot of people. Just a ref and a dude in Vegas.

What we are talking about is the NFL dictating to refs how a games outcome should be decided. The NFL decides who wins. |

I used to say the exact same thing to other guys here all the time
Its incredibly easy to not believe a bit of it, who ever WANTED to believe it? I sure as hell didnt, and still dont... convenient excuses always suited me well enough Maybe in some way, I didnt wanna feel like a sucker But what we've been seeing the last 2-3 years has just been so blatant, week after week after week... should be enough to make any reasonably open mind at least wanna start asking some hard questions Is it a game by game scripted, systemic thing, I dont believe that... but when a multi-billion dollar "entertainment" industry has a megamoney stake in seeing a certain market succeed? Nothing is too far fetched when it comes to billions, they'll see to their interests Yes Mahomes is still a league darling, and Goodells eyes are surely full of $ when he looks at him... but the LA market is even bigger than our phenom, in the leagues eyes How else did an unbiased all star ref crew screw up so bad? |

History doesn't lie and it nearly always repeats itself. The Rams WILL fail in LA. The Chargers WILL fail in LA. It's not "if" but "when". The NFL wants to make damned sure that it doesn't happen for at least a decade AFTER the new stadium is completed. 4+ Billion bucks is a rather large investment in a facility to sit empty a few years after being built....... Again - last nights' "spectacle" was about building a fan base - and nothing more. |

Because this team is good enough to overcome the fix - they just didn't last night. Were it not for a dropped gift INT or Mahomes getting hit as he released the ball on that last drive, they would have won anyway, despite the best efforts of the ref$ and the wishes of the league.
Two losses by three points, both on the road, against big market league darlings. Both could have easily gone the other way. |

These are not related...and the people pointing it out are not the same. That is a weak-ass attempt at discrediting by false association... People have talked...and there have been books written. NFL vets its refs...it's why you see so much nepotism. |
