Patrick must have frustrated the 49ers to no end with how he scurried out of about 3-4 sacks tonight.
That one run he had in the 4th for about 15 yards I was sure he was sacked, and then sure he was stopped for a 1-yard gain. HUGE. |

Mahomes played just enough below his ridiculous standard to give the haters ammunition for their “hot takez” tomorrow.
And i will sit back, relax, and not give a shit about any of it. Because we’re Super Bowl champs, and none of these idiots on TV can wipe this grin off my face. |

In the 4th quarter there was a legit Houdini play where you thought he was dead, but he weaseled out of it and got the ball to Kelce for a first down over the middle.

Alex Smith would have been sacked 6-7 times in that game. |

I think Niner fans found out that Patrick's 4.8 in the 40 is pretty misleading. The idiots should have already know this after his big scramble TD play against them a year ago. But then again, a lot of Niner fans are bandwagoners who were probably not even watching that game a year ago.

The thing about Patrick's 40 time is it really doesn't matter.
He knows when he should actually try to run and when he shouldn't. He rarely gets in a situation where his slower than average 40 is going to get him in trouble. Whereas Alex ran 4.6 and would routinely do stupid shit with his legs. In this way he might be more dangerous as a runner because you're more concerned about his arm and then BOOM he hits you with the run. |
