Olympic speed is world class speed. Would he be out there competing with Usain Bolts records? His best 100M speed at a much lighter weight is a wind assisted 9.98. That time gets him crushed in heat 3 of the semis and barely sneaks him into the finals in the other 2 semis and then, his best time ever, ties him for dead last if he happens to sneak into the finals.

And let's be clear here. He absolutely did not qualify for the 2012 Olympics. His time might have qualified for him to compete at the Olympic Trials, in which he did not compete.

So you are unequivocally incorrect. He most certainly did not qualify for the Olympics. He might have had the opportunity to compete for the qualification. But he did not qualify.

I mean, he could certainly quit football and go back to T&F, but I think you're underestimating the difference in training he'd have to undergo, and it doesn't really happen in a year. And he'd be 29 starting it.

That's unlikely.

The Olympics has already weeded out the Alex Smiths and Tim Tebows. The Olympics is Mahomes going up against Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Allen, Jackson, etc... Mahomes is Usain Bolt. Everyone is world class.

The NFL draft already weeded out the ones who couldn’t make it to the pros. Training camp, preseason weed out the rest, that leaves you with Alexx Smith, Tim Tebow, Ryan Leaf being world class along with Brady Rogers, Mahomes, Manning

There were 33 people competing for the Men's 100 M in 2012 from the link I posted.

Tyreek would have qualified then, and been 1 in 33.

Mahomes is 1 of 32.

Sam Darnold is to Patrick Mahomes as Tyreek Hill is to Usain Bolt.

God you're being insufferable.

All I'm doing is pushing back on the idea that he'd stroll onto the Olympic stage and whip ass. And then point out the instances in which you are incorrect, because you obviously don't even have a passive understanding of Olympic Track and Field.

I love Hill. A lot. He's the fastest dude I've ever seen play football. Ever. But he isn't an Olympic Sprinter. He maybe could have been a qualifier once, but he's a long way away from the Olympic podium.

And with that, I have no interest in continuing this conversation.
