*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

If you think about it, the guys with elite arm talent are fine in snow.

Elway was. Favre. Rodgers. and now Mahomes.

It's the guys with 'adequate' arms that fall to less than adequate in adverse conditions.

I mean, you are talking about that ball being a fraction of a second late or it would have been a perfect throw for a TD. Like the Kelce fumble a week before- sometimes you just have to give props to the defense for making an amazing play on the ball. That was probably the best play the Donks made all day.

I would rather see Mahomes take that kill shot every single time and fail once in a while- than always check it down or throw it away in tight coverage. I think 8 out 10, Mahomes makes that play for the win.
Well, either way, I was just doing cartwheels seeing him make that throw again. That's the type of throw he's struggled to make the past few months due to health. The league got put on notice.

Football is more fun to play in the snow or mud. The Chiefs went out pre-game and played in the snow. They were having a blast.

Yeah, great point. Favre is the best cold weather QB of all time. Playing in Green Bay most of his career- he racked up a lot of wins in snow.

Brady has a lot of cold weather / snowy wins too- but he had a ton of help from the defense and the Zamboni guy clearing the field for field goals.

Favre was the best QB I had ever seen in the snow. His arm made it look so effortless while opposing QB’s looked like they were struggling due to conditions.

For the longest time, Rodgers was like Favre but better bc he wasn’t a turnover machine. He was awesome but very efficient and deadly with accuracy and precision.

Pat is like a mix of those two. He’s got Favre’s body, arm and mobility but he’s smart and efficient like Rodgers, however Pat is a better leader.

We hit the jackpot guys.

And our freaking FB stood him up and didn't let him disengage from the block. Gave up ground, but he had a whole bunch of ground to give up. No holding, either!

Man, I got the weeiiirdest ****ing boner from watching that.

Of all the games for Kelce to have hands like velcro. Amazing how well they were catching the ball.
