Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

If they screw up the 1st round pick that's a different deal......no never mind. Thess guy didn't do what we wanted with the first move so fly banners. Fire these guys because the next regime will surely see it my way and pick the coaches and players i want. Then we'll win the SBssssssss.....

Same as I would any playoff team. Once they make the playoffs anything can happen. The last few years low seeds in the playoffs have done better than high seeds a lot of the time. Who picked Baltimore to win at this time last year? No one.

Which means that we'll have to give up what we gave up for Smith plus far more than what WAS gave up for Griffin (if we finish w/ 7-10 wins), as we'll be moving up from 10-20. |

I even think it's a bit overkill, but I would defend that decision to the very last with anybody who thought it was a dumb idea. |

Matt Schaub has never played at an elite level, even w/ the best running game in football and a top three WR. |

In essence, if they wait until 2014 they will have paired one wise move with one egregiously terrible move. Same thing if they draft Geno this year. |

One of these years people are going to come to their senses on Matt Schaub.
TJ Yates can do what Schaub did. |
