What about Hunter Renfrow? He’ll have to renegotiate his contract, but I think he would be decent.

Hopefully Veach and Reid have learned their lesson.
Always draft the player with better physical traits. They drafted MEH over several more talented RBs and they drafted Skyy Less over George Pickens and other more physically gifted WRs. That has to stop. |

I'd say it's Mecole or Hollywood.....or Kyle Pitts but they probably won't do that.

It might take a 4th and a 6th to get it done, but a 4th and a 6th to add Hardman and Brown makes this offense a real bitch to deal with. Then next year you use a 2nd to backfill the speed element so you don't have to do all this crap again... It's less than ideal, but it really gets us back in scary shape offensively, IMO. |

Uhh, that isn't how Veach has operated, like, at all here. If there's an evident problem with the roster he's usually relatively aggressive at trying to fix it, especially around the deadline. If this WR group still hasn't shown much of anything a month from now I'm guessing it'll be the same.

It seems like that would be the most cost effective way to improve the offense imop. |

Put your top DB on Rice, put your 2nd and 3rd guys (likely a S and CB) on Kelce. And force Andy to do a bunch of window dressing/movement to try to create confusion. Kelce looked a little slower last season. He's looked slower again this season. The days of him being someone that can just defeat whatever you throw at him may not be over, but they may not be routine either. The wrong team with the right personnel and a smart coach can have us running the ball 35 times and hoping the defense can get a key stop. That's a fairly unnerving thought for a team built around it's superstar QB and offense-minded HC. It just seems to be inviting trouble. |
