No, because of Jordan.

They don’t even win one championship without him, so I don’t see the point of that question.

I don't know if I've ever seen anything like it.

It would be like in a 2-minute drill the refs reviewing an out of bounds catch, and then deciding to call pass interference. I've rarely ever seen refs reverse a judgment call on a replay. Let alone in the last 2 minutes of a close NBA finals game. That is just simply unbelievable. Especially literally one play after you completely missed a call on the other end.

1 of those 2 plays goes their way, and Cleveland probably dribbles out the clock. Without JR Smith needing to call a timeout.

Houston, short of acquiring LeBron, should never beat Golden State in a best of 7 series with the way their roster and Golden State's roster is assembled.

And the blowing out part has to do with how the Warriors are when they try. The Warriors best night is better than all other 29 teams' in the league's best night.
So we're going to act like the rockets didnt have the 4th best offense and 7th best defense in the league and have the #1 seed? Yes the warriors should be favored but the rockets were a great team and it wouldn't have been that huge of an upset if they had won which they probably should have if CP3 played.

LeBron has been to the Finals 9 times in his career.

Of those times, he's been a favorite twice, and lost one of those times(Mavericks Loss and Spurs Win).

My point that I'm getting at is MJ, while great in his own right, had a better supporting cast.

MJ leaves for 2 years-Bulls make POs both years.

LeBron leaves- Cavs go on historic losing record, draft Kyrie the year after that.

They are both good in their own right, but I think we need to give LeBron as much credit as MJ.

Maybe in 91 vs the Lakers.. probably close in 93 and 98. The Suns were viewed as a serious threat and was Utah with HC advantage.

Did you not listen to the announcers explain the process as it happened?

Durant was fouled.. they called Lebron instead of the guy that yanked him by the shoulder.

The way he was playing, I'd imagine LeBron hits a shot to go up 4 there with 15 seconds if they don't reverse. The game would have been over. The call saved them and it quite literally destroyed any hopes of this series being competitive.

I’m going to stop you right there because this is just wrong. Yea the first year they won 55 games without MJ only to lose in the playoffs and prove they were nothing more than an average playoff team, but the next year they were hovering around .500 at the All-Star break until MJ came back. That team never wins anything of significance without Jordan, and he certainly carried them to championships in that sense.

Too bad titles are a team award and not an individual one. He might have actually still had some claim on GOAT if that wasn't the case.

Remember last year when the Jesse James touchdown was overruled in favour of the Patriots? Technically the right call by the rules too, but an absolute joke of a call to make in that spot.

KCC logic:

Lebron’s finals appearances = Lebron accomplishment

Jordan’s Championships = team accomplishment

Reality:

Cav’s finals appearances without Lebron: 0

Bulls championships without MJ: 0
