There still has been a lot of people getting Hospitalized , with all the measures in place , we have never seen that during a bad flu season. If we had these measures in place during a normal flu season the yearly deaths would be way lower.

Yeah well when considering virus to not take demographics into consideration is wrong.

If you are sub 50 and relatively healthy the coronavirus is the flu. If you are not in that demographic is is bad.

That being said, as we learn more it seems to only be a true threat that stands above the rest of them (Viruses) for elderly people.

Is there a reason thats a bad idea as a starting point along with other social distancing measures in public places?

I'm open for discussion on it, but it just seems like it's gonna be tough to implement.

That's actually part of Phase One:

ALL VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS should continue to shelter in place.

1. Elderly individuals.

2. Individuals with serious underlying health conditions, including high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune system is compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer and other conditions requiring such therapy.

I don't know why they have to be so vague in these press conferences. They're going somewhere to test 3,000 employees of a meat processing plant. I think it may be Triumph here in St Joe? But they didn't say for sure.

New modeling released this week indicates that Illinois may not hit its peak level of coronavirus spread until mid-May, crediting social distancing and the stay-at-home order for the delay.
