Joe Montana is still the greatest ever....

....and nothing that Peyton Manning does will ever change that.

I think if you go back you will see the both Troy Aikman and Joe Montana both had great runs with the players they had around them over a ten year span.

It wasn't just Bradshaw who had great players on his team.

It's not my fault that the voters for the HOF don't like the donks.

Not many people do.

And anyone with a lick of football sense, when asked to rank Elway, Montana, Bradshaw, and Aikman are going to rank Elway and Montana far above Bradshaw and Aikman.

I agree with this, however, it seems like in a battle of the 'have's' and 'have not's' the 'have not's' are out of the running.

milkman - do you have a hard on for Montana cause he was the last guy to give you playoff hopes or because of what he accomplished in SF?

His Manning hate makes me laugh, I've learned over the years this market in general doesn't really like QB's, especially ones the league promotes as the faces of the league.

milk doesn't hate Qbs. He doesnt even hate Manning hell he has him ranked high. His basic argument is Manning isnt clutch like some of the other greats.

I think being clutch is kind of subjective, it's like that "he wins games" stuff.

If so, that was John Paxson that made the shot...and it was either Scottie Pippen or Horace Grant that made the assist if I remember correctly.

People think Manning is a choker because T. Martin won a national championship at Tennessee, and Peyton Manning didn't...and because he lose two games to New England on the road, in the postseason, where they were underdogs early in his career.

I hope when Adam Vinatieri retires, Tom Brady sends him a handwritten letter thanking him for making him appear as some sort of super-human, super clutch, never-let-you-down QB...

Biggest myth in sports. Drives me crazy...

Great QB...made the most out of his situation in New England to say the least...hall of famer...

not an all-time great
