CP Get together? 10/10 Bills game

Okay, looks like 10-10 is gonna be the best available day for the most CP'ers. I have decided to have it at a Raytown Park so we don't have you yahoos traipsing through my humble abode. Alcohol IS allowed just no glass bottles. I have it narrowed down to a park less than 7 miles from the stadium, I just need to get one of the 2 reserved. I am going to check them out tomorrow.

I will provide a large cooler(or 2, subject to RSVP's), small grill, name tags, a fairly decent blue tooth speaker and, of course, my world famous chili. I will probably front y'all some all beef dogs and buns as well.

The shelter will cost me and I won't complain. BUT donations, requests, tips(actual advice) and RSVP's would be accepted graciously. No, I won't get you a rib eye!

Doors will open at noon and go to when y'all get the hell out or 20 minutes before kick off. Unless we figure out how to watch the game there in the shelter....

Where is this Raytown Park? A Google search brings up several parks in that area but none called Raytown Park.

I'm considering trying to make it there for a short while before I head to the stadium. Just gotta check a few things first. Would like to meet some CPers who I've seen posting for years as well as see some that I have previously met. I know I met Domer and I think you, too, burt back in the days when we were going the CP flag football games. Boy, that was a lot of fun.

Oh I remember that flag football games. That was a looooooong time ago. I only did it once, I think.

Yeah, about mid to late 2000s, I believe, when we were a lot younger. I'll give Dave Lane credit, though. I think he was around 50 or so and out there running around with guys in their 30s.

I haven't investigated that. I'm planning on football, eating and drinking!!! And the fabulous company, of course....

But now that you mention it, that is the Rock Island trail. GREAT bike trail.

Yeah, apparently that's a brand new section. Gonna have to dust off my rig and figure out a way to work that into the schedule.

Well assuming I stay for the game, after isn't going to work...lol. So I would imagine sometime before. It's about 14 miles round trip from the park to the Vale tunnel, if I can get going by 10:30 I should easily be back by noon.
