The thing is, the AFC is loaded and only reaching the SB will in anyway make up for this trade. If the Browns fail constantly over the next years, and winning couple playoff games won’t cut it, this will be seen as a failure, especially given the surroundings of Watson.

Not really IMO. Because they'll have a shot every year now. Before they wouldn't have.

Cleveland has a top-tier roster. All they needed was the QB.

I have to agree with NEOM - if they don't get to the Super Bowl with Watson, it's a failure.

Considering the price they are paying in picks and salary... hell yeah it would be a failure.

So what if this "new" grand jury thing becomes an actual indictment. Trade is a done deal now. Picks belong to Houston. And it also didn't sound like Cleveland put anything in the contract to protect themselves regarding salary.

Browns are death to any QB. It's a factory of sadness.

Hope Cleveland hires some 20 year old chick to be Watson's personal ball washer.

Fair or not that’s the perception
Well they kept him only for a few years.

Just goes to show most only read headlines or the first time reported and then make a judgement that sticks with them. Follow up be damned.
