***The Official EMAW Repository thread***

I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

1. Arthur and family are pushing him....hard. They are a tight family. I think the experience of having to miss a lot of their kids college experience has been tough on the parents.

2. Daniel Thomas graduates after this season. Bryce could sit out this year and be The Man in the 2011 season. That certainly appeals to him and his family.

3. I know that Saul discounts this, but Bryce was tight with the KSU staff. If HCBS had never left, we probably would have had both of the Brown kids from the get go.
I spoke to someone this weekend about Bryce. I'd say that 60-40 just moved to 80-20. Barring some sort of last minute change, he'll be Red-shirting @ KSU with Arthur this Fall.

Just got a call... I get to go to the morning session games tomorrow with a college friend. Her dad's friend has connections. She said "The tickets say section 117, row 5.... is that good?"

I looked it up. Mid Court. 5th frickin' row. For freeeee!

Wish State were playing.... wait.... no I don't. I wish I could see them Saturday from these seats for free. Hoisting that trophy.

Was being recruited by Alabama and LSU as an athlete but sounds like K-State were the first to send him an offer. Had some off the field issues and was kicked off his team last fall, but has since been reinstated.

Sorry, i'm kind of negative about coach Old Balls "Diamond in the Rough" recruiting at this point.
