Game of Thrones Seasons 7-8
About to hit the 5000 post mark on the old thread, the first season 7 trailer today seems like the right time to start the final Game of Thones thread.
I'm going back to the original rules pre-2015. I don't think we need supervision or bannings. Just don't be a dick. Post anything you find online that hasn't aired yet inside of spoiler tags. That's pretty much it. I think we can all handle that... For future us, 2015 thread is here: Link Last edited by keg in kc; 06-21-2017 at 10:48 AM.. |

I have 300 pages or so left in the last one. I made the mistake of binge watching it with my wife...The story in the show and the books is different enough to where I'm all screwed up on it now. The show is ahead of the books AND the books are ahead of the show. Plus they changed alot for the show, which I'm OK with. At least the show moves at a good pace. The books...holy shit, there have been whole parts of the book that even in the context of the BOOKS don't seem relevant.
Meh. Whatever. I'll finish this, but I don't know if I'll bother with the last book...when and if it comes out... |

I may consider reading the books one day once the show ends. But only if he finishes the series.

there's a thrift shop in CoMo that has the audiobooks (cd) for like 12 bucks per... well worth it; I don't put a dime in that dude's pocket, cheap, I get to rush through them without actually reading them as I have a 1 hour (each way) commute to work, thus a LOT of listening time. gives me a ton of time to catch up on podcasts as well, which is nice.

I'm gonna guess it's the ending where the most people die.
