I would think 4/$50 million with about $20 million of that in signing bonus could get that done.

The thing we forget about is the appeal of getting $20 million today. That's a full year of his life that he's going to be wealthier. It's a year sooner he can get started on building a big ol' house or investing in a business or whatever.

It cracks me up to think about Veach just walking up to Bolton with a suitcase full of cash and saying "Hey Nick - see this $20 million? Yours right now if you sign this contract, buddy..."

It's honestly a little surprising to me how many of these guys DON'T sign early. Because that signing bonus has to have so much appeal.

Latest reports were that Titans still hotter than ever on the Sneed trade.

Why not work in Hopkins on the trade to get the vet WR all teams are signing for way to much atm?

Yes I think Hopkins can produce more than Brown or any other WR in FA atm.

Titans get:
Sneed

Chiefs get:
Hopkins, I believe it will cost us about $12M-$13M in cap.

Of course can throw in Moore if they want him!

Then I'd be in favor of trading up for a stud LT. Mims would be GREAT!

With what Mooney got I think we have to start looking at Osborne. I think he’s an upgrade over our number three receivers last year, but I’m not sure.

Someone race the idea of trading a Sneed for Higgins. I think that would be great, but we couldn’t afford him.

Certainly worth a shot. Gotta figure they're gonna counter anyways so maybe you start there and end at $56M.

Point is, I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't try to knock him and Creed out here come May/June. It's so much easier right now than it's gonna be.

Seems like a JAG but I’ll just trust Veach/Spags on DBs that they’re familiar with.

I'll be thrilled to get him at 3/30.

At this point I'm worried it's all just gonna price us out and we will be pigeon holed in the draft.

Curtis Samuel is also good bc he can do the MVS vertical role and the Toney role. It just makes too much sense.
