You an use as small as a .270 I've killed several with that. My grandpa used to poach them in the depression with a .243 bullet placement is important of course. They are tough as hell. This one took 2 shots through the front shoulders before he even moved. My son calls him 50cent because he took 4 shots to put him down

Man, MDC really needs to do something about the out of state hunters before the locals take things into their own hands.
It's pretty sad when the local youth can't even find a place to hunt after a bunch of east coast plates swarm into an area. |

Yeah, we deal with that with pheasant. Just have to find land owners that will post it and let locals hunt

I read so many Outdoor Life articles written by Jack O'Connor and his exploits with the Winchester model 70 pre-1964 "legendary".
Looks like it found a great home. I hope he appreciated what a fine rifle he possesses. |
