It's genuinely amazing how naive you are.

The reality is, Keenum went to the highest bidder, aka "The Kirk Cousins Red-Headed Rejected Crew 2018," and got overpaid. You think some Twitter nerd guessing (wrongly) what he'd get paid having any relevance to actual reality is too funny.

Short version: no one in the league wanted to pay your career-backup as much as Denver. No wonder.

Amazingly the Browns did it right. If you're gonna start a mediocre guy, at least trade for a cost-controlled asset and don't pay stupid $ for such a turd.

Amazing comment considering Keenum has accomplished more than any other Chiefs QB since Joe Montana, and no one but Chiefs fans really remember that Joe ever even played for the red and yellow.

Keenum didn’t really accomplish anything. He threw up a Hail Mary and was lucky the Saints rookie defender suddenly turned into an aids tree. Then the next week he got ass raped.

Keenum has 1 good season in an ideal situation. If I told you 1 year ago that Case Keenum was your QB you would probably laugh and say he was a backup at best.

18 -million for Case Keenum yes the football world is still laughing at Denver. How is it possible that Elway is this bad at his job?

Dont forget he wanted to pay Brock but was outbid and looked to Sanchez as a starter. It was blind luck that Kubiak wanted Semen in the 7th...or things would be even worse. He then moved up to draft Lynch..who has been an epic bust. He just paid a QB 18 million per that was 9-15 as a starter prior to 2017.

He lucked into Manning and after that...read above. 5-11 with a $36 million dollar back-up.

It's also funny how different Denver games are officiated since Manning is gone. The bogus drive extending PI calls are long gone and it's showing.

Oh, you're right. Keenum threw that up there. That explains why Elway signed him. He saw the Saints defender take a dive and figured that Keenum knew how to buy off players.
