****2017 NFL Draft Thread**** (NO Spoilers)

Let's ****ing do this.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's McCaffrey to Tampa) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").

Don't be a dick.

Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny.

I'll also be starting threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. Pure knee jerk gold to reference in the future.

He isn't that bad. He isn't a starter, but he has gotten better each year and seems like a pretty intelligent guy.

His stats aren't that bad, and he played against some of the best defenses in the country week in and week out.

Lol typical KU fan. Somehow forgetting Maclin broke the team record for receptions in a season in 2015 with 8 TDs and over 1000 yards with Alex ****ing Smith as his quarterback...

Dude misses 5 games while Tyreek & Kelce become the focal points of the offense and Alex Smith is still his quarterback...so now he's garbage with no game.

Bad mechanics and inaccurate. He's talented enough to sit on a bench and collect a fat paycheck for several years. He should never start, though.

Maclin isn't going to be around forever. Plus Maclin has an injury history. KC is going to need some receivers because after Kelce and Hill, there isn't anyone on the roster that makes me go "wow".

Conley, maybe. Jury is still out on him.

Maclin's only going to be 29 this year. Always good to have WR depth, but I'm not wowed by Dede Westbrook.

I'm not questioning Maclin's skills. He's still very good.

I'm just questioning his injury history. He has gotten dinged up quite a few times and had to miss a few games.

Interesting, on CBS they were talking about Ted Thompson's drafting strategy, that he prefers the safe player. Not sure if that is true, but certainly different than Dorsey's strategy this year.
