I won't be holding my breath for Elway to change his ways in one offseason.

They have a lot of work to do
The most important thing for the Broncos to do is get a QB that is even half way decent, I think Elways first choice to solve the QB problem is Cousins, but Elway probably has a certain financial # in mind for Cousins and if Cousins goes to another team then Elway has to go with Plan B. IMHO, Plan B is Rosen, but Elway cannot bank on Rosen being a Bronco so he has to have a Plan C. Plan C is a bridge QB that might turn into a viable starter (McCarron or Bridgewater?) while at the same time developing Kelly and Lynch. Lynch is most likely a lost cause, but Kelly has real potential, if he can stay clean off the field.

He's invested in the OL.

He gave Clady big money but he kept getting hurt
He paid Louis Vasquez.
Signed Okung
Signed Leary
Signed Evan Mathis
Spent a first on Bolles
Spent a second on Orlando Franklin and Ty Sambrailo
Spent numerous mid/late rounders on Garcia, Schofield, Paradis, Painter, McGovern, Phillip Blake
...

He just hasn't been able to hit on a RT.

See, that’s the thing.

Elway has done that.

He’s just completely clueless as to who to sign/draft.

Sambrillo was a 2
Okung was a costly FA
Stephenson
Watson
Bolles was a 1
Schofield was a 3
Leary

They’re all garbage, though

And in your mind this list of investments should somehow inspire confidence in his player evaluation abilities?
