Breaking Bad is better, largely because the first 2-3 seasons of Saul are slow and boring as hell. It gets better pretty much in proportion to how much the BB characters are incorporated. I was so glad when the brother died. His stuff in the first couple of seasons were brutal. And all of the stuff with Kim and the banking...snore...
I realize they have to set up these characters and their transformations, but what took three seasons could have been done in one. Whole lot of fluff in the first seasons. |

The character development with Saul and Chuck was brilliant. It was more of a slow burn early on, but it was always a great show. |

It's funny to me how much older everyone looks with each new season. Also the fact this is a prequel that took place before BB. I love watching 90 year old Mike running around with his pistol lol. I mean he was old in the beginning but christ. |

Man I’d forgotten how this show does the little stuff sooooo well.
The blocking, the super close shot of a bug or the marble thing that seems super odd but has a nice little tie in. God this show is good. |

I agree. Though what is a little interesting is how much bcs has to split between the lawyer stuff and the drug underbelly. The latter tending to be where most of the tension is. At some point jimmy and Kim are going to get completely sucked into it. Which is why you see something like Howard Hamlin, which is so important to the story line, but it feels like small potatoes compared to the shit going on with Lalo and nacho.
