*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

He talks like he has a frog in his throat. A famous frog is Kermit. Voila - Kermit memes.

But yeah, he sounds nothing like Kermit.

Plus, it may be my imagination but the rasp seems to be less evident as the season goes along.

I think Mahomes has pretty much eradicated that kind of talk. Now that we see the enormous potential of the next 10+ years, people aren’t going to value CP shitstorms over actual success. Because now with a real QB, actual success isn’t so difficult to attain

I think we're all completely over the "Mahomes should have started last year" take.

But it occurred to me today that he would have probably won a lot more games than I would have guessed.

Great interview with DJ but the part with Mahomes cracks me up.

The defense would get all pissed off because he'd do no-look stuff in practice, they'd get in trouble for giving up completions and thought he was just dicking around and not taking things seriously...

Great little insight (and really, just a good interview in general) from DJ.

Patrick Mahomes could have played D1 basketball - even though it is his "third" sport. He averaged 19.9 PPG, 3.5 APG, 6.7 RPG, 4.0 SPG as a junior for Whitehouse High School.

What a boss.

Meanwhile - Tom Brady ran a 5.3 40 yard dash - which might be close to 5.6 now.

As I noted when it happened, if Alex had been the one concussed (instead of Kelce), we win that game last year.
