That's about right. The most inept offense in baseball wins by lighting up the guy who's probably been the most dominant reliever in baseball this year.

Hopefully he took a good look around the clubhouse and took it all in, because that's the last time he should EVER be in a MLB clubhouse.

In Duffy’s last 7 games, he’s 3-1 with a 2.68 ERA over 43.2 innings.
Praying he’s back. |

With Boni back does that mean Herrea to center field? I would like to see that.

If that’s the direction Dayton goes, then sure. He’s still young and has an extremely reasonable contract for a pitcher who fits in as a low end ace or solid number 2 when he’s effective. However, if the team values him in a Salvador Perez type of way, then that’s fine too. Let him anchor your staff during a rebuild and give fans something to look forward to once a week.
However, all of this is moot when you’re repping an ERA around 6 and not making it past the 4th inning. |

I don’t think Duffy is on the move until/unless the Royals are presented with an offer that includes a top 50 prospect for him.
I come back to the Brewers as a good fit for him. He’d carve against NL lineups and offer that team a next level. |

I think he's a better offseason trade candidate. Rehab his value the rest of the year and sell high.

Tend to agree, but if he gets a few more Ws under his belt, do the Brewers decide to make a flags fly forever run? They’ve got the O to play with the best AL clubs and a lights out bullpen. Duffy and Nelson added to their rotation could move it forward. |

I think you're right and the Brewers should go for it, but we'll see if they have the stones to do it. Their bullpen would be lethal in a short series.
We get excited because we have a guy like Moustakas who can hit 30 HR. The Brewers literally have two guys in Thames and Domingo Santana who are 30 HR guys who can't crack their lineup. |
