one of my fav movies. if you haven't seen it I dare you to not like it. 98.9 the rocks double J got a divorce and they were teasing her about moving out playing this soundbyte. |

Finally saw Entourage. Low expectations going based on all the bad reviews. I actually enjoyed it though.

Not sure, but I'm really enjoying the new breed of Euro-based action and gangster movies. Stuff like Krays and Rockinrolla' are just way better than their American counterparts as of late.

This movie Alien vs Predator: Requiem is on TV right now.
Everything else aside, this movie is SO dark. You can't make out what's even happening during about 90% of the movie. I can't believe professional movie-makers would look at this finished product and decide it looked good. |

I caught a couple decent flicks over the last couple days.
The Drop Tom Hardy and James Gandolfini deliver some pretty damn good acting in this ridiculously simple plot. I think you stick virtually any other actor in those roles and the movie is a joke. Overall it is a really good flick that I recommend seeing. Not a game changer or a paradigm shifter, but a good watch. Serenity I finally caught this. Given the situation that dictated its' production, I figured it would suck bawls even though I'm a pretty big fan of Firefly. Even if my expectations would have been on par with Firefly, this shit was really really good. Really good. Watch this bitch if you've seen Firefly but not this. Can't believe it took me so long to watch it. |
