Are you saying that you can't draft a star offensive player unless it's in the first round?

The same Julius Thomas that went to shit after he couldn't play with Manning anymore?

As far as what they can give Cousins? You ask the question with the assumption that the cupboard is bare in Denver. It's not. The OL has issues, true. I'd like to see what Jake can do in Denver at TE, and should they return the same WR group - they just need a capable QB.

Getting Cousins, fixing the OL... it's not going to be easy and they won't return to glory in one season, might take a couple. I've got time to wait.
In a couple years Von will be 30, Thomas will be 32, Sanders will be 33, Harris will be 30, Marshall will be 30, and Talib will be gone.

Good luck.

No. It should be easier to find one in the earlier rounds though.

It'll be interesting to see how Carlos Henderson and Jake Butt come along next season.

Damn, I don't know what they're gonna do with all those guys ... in a couple of years hovering around the early 30s. Oh noes!

You’re being a smart ass, but it’s a legitimate concern when you have absolutely no young studs/pieces under the age of 25.

I’ll be here to say i told you so, just like the past two years though.

Bright side, if you do end up with Cousins you can use #5 for a nice OT, or maybe even Fitzpatrick.

Look at all the talent on our 2012 squad that resulted in a 2-14 season. Kind of a silly argument.

You'd better hope they become something special. Your GM has proven he can't draft offensive talent for shit.

Klis said on the radio that if Denver doesn't acquire Cousins or Brees in the offseason that they'll almost certainly draft a QB in the first round.

I've read in this very thread that they currently possess four likely all-pros in Lynch, Osweiler, Siemien, and Kelly. Why do they need a fifth guy?

No..because the current Donko staff is equally as inept. There is no Andy Reid coming in to turn that crap franchise around...they're stuck with Vance Joseph to usher the rebuild.
