I'm genuinely curious how John Hopkins gets updated on the number of deaths seemingly in real time. Today was another one of those weird days where Missouri "officially" reported 1 death, but at the time of reporting, John Hopkins had it as a total of +15. (It's now at +18)

We had 2 people hospitalized in St. Joe, now they don't show up on the hospitals count anymore. Hopefully they were discharged...

The thing is, I've watched the numbers very closely for Missouri over the past few days and the JH data is actually right. It's just being reported in a much quicker way compared to other sites.

The drop from Friday to Saturday this week was nice. Let's hope today is legit and there isn't an outlying reason for it being lower. if I remember right the "models" said the peak would be this weekend but they may have changed 20 times since I think Thursday when that was stated.

I am not saying the JH site is inaccurate. I just didn't care for the site and the layout. I like Wroldometers better so I have just stuck with that.

Isn't Missouri infection rates just going nuts?
I thought i read somewhere that Missouri had like 1/3 of America's infections in the last week. Missouri Governor refused to start quarantine early on so it's blowing up now. |

There was a spike but the last few days have shown drops in daily new cases. The growth rate of daily new cases has dropped a lot in the last few days.

Dude Missouri had 126 new cases today, the country had 27,500. You are confusing Missouri with NYC. |
