after week 1 I was thinking Skyy might be a practice squad player at best. He's obviously improving and I take that comment back.

Rashee Rice is going to be extremely good. Pat clearly trusts him already in crucial situations. Skyy Moore has looked better each week too. Clearly they will be the top two guys for the long term, with Toney playing the gadget role.

This was a very important opportunity to get our young guys in the groove a little bit. Mission accomplished in that department. The coaching and team as a whole really started to gel today. The OL looked really strong too. As for the defense it's had it together from the beginning. We returned a bunch of starters from the SB squad and the young guys from last year are seasoned veterans. Man what a fun day of football this was! LOVED it!!!! |

Rice reminds me alot of Brandon Aiyuk straight down to having some early struggles.

I know that it's unusual to see Andy blow a team out like this. He generally tends to take his foot off the gas much sooner. I think that it was mostly for the experience and development of the receivers in game action. Every rep that they can get with Mahomes and the one's, the better.

I still think think Toney is the best/most talented of them, but they'll never be able to consistently rely on him.

I think he is the most athletic and great for dialing up catch and runs any time you want. But rashee to me just has the best combo of physical skills and feel. He has a more complete skill set.

At least we cut out some of the stupid ass mistakes though. I think we can take that away.
