They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Young guns are going to be seeing increased reps ready or not.

Fine. Watson it is, I trust him to not get too creative with the ball out there.

Without Toney we're kind of in a bind.

I think the most obvious improvement would be Rice working as the #2, but we still don't have anyone to do what Toney should be doing.

MVS is limited and has been fairly consistently a 2 receptions a game type of receiver for us. He's a deep threat but he can't do what you need from a #1. To me he seems to struggle with physical defenders.

We'd all like to see Moore improve but he doesn't have it at this point. Watson is a journeyman/role player.

Is it Ross? He's got almost no snaps at the pro level. He had two great college years that were 2018 and 2019. I hope they try to bring his snaps up, but he's totally green.

Going with this new WR group, all of whom have significant questions surrounding them, was a big risk and we're living with that risk week to week.

At this point I feel like James is a distraction. We’re trying to get him touches and while it’s too soon to tell, I don’t think he’s it.

I had hoped Toney could be a primary target so it gives the other WRs time to grow. Maybe he is that guy but it doesn’t feel like he’s reliable enough to depend on that. I actually really like the idea of figuring out what the offense can grow to look like without him. Then plug and play him more like a utility knife weapon.

So I’m not bothered by these injuries that much. I think this will force us to figure out what we have in our young guys which is what we need most. Ross early on since he has less of a learning curve. But ultimately rice. I hate to look past the next few games but they seem really ideal to start playing with the Ross/rice experiment quite a bit more.

Why do people want to acquire Taylor? He doesn't seem like a good fit for us and he is demanding an unreasonable contract. The Colts want a first round pick or Jalen Waddle, etc.

Given that, why would anyone think the Colts would even respond to "flip a third"? Why would we want to "flip a third" for a RB at all? Why would we want to "flip a third" for half a year of a guy who thinks he should be paid $15 million per?
