I really hope this slow moving market means we are going to sign LJ Sneed to a reasonable extension

All dependent on what these other teams are saying they’ll pay him post-trade

He is a smaller version of MVS with straight-line speed but no wiggle. He does have better hands at least.

He is a smaller version of MVS with straight-line speed but no wiggle. He does have better hands at least.

He’s really nothing like Valdes -Scantling.

Samuel didn’t break tackles last year like he has in previous years, which could be a warning sign or how he was used in that offense.

He has good speed, creates a lot of separation (13th overall in 2023 in that metric) and has good hands. He also has consistently been a weapon as a YAC guy.

He operated primarily from the slot but also has the size and speed to win from outside alignments (and has).

He’s a really versatile player who is an interesting fit for KC’s Z role.

Pairing him with drafting Xavier Legette or Adonai Mitchell or Troy Franklin should be pretty exciting and round out the WR group nicely.

If you’re looking for impact, no one is going to give you more upside there than Marquise Brown, who has dynamic speed, reliable hands, and tracks the ball well downfield (making him a good weapon downfield, even when aligned outside). But that’s also why Brown has a higher price tag than Mooney or Samuel.

Allegedly they offered him very close to this amount to stay, he turned it down and took it with Minnesota.
