Stop it. Durant could win 10 championships and he wouldn't be half the player LeBron is. How is this not obvious to anybody who has watched this postseason (or really any basketball over the last decade)?

No one is saying Lebron isn’t an all time great or Top 5 all time NBA player. And he’s easily the dominant player of this era. No arguments. But for clowns like Nick Wright and KCC to spew 24/7 Lebron is the GOAT, hands down, no reasonable argument for anyone else is just ****ing stupid. And it’s gotten annoying to hear the same damn thing day after day after day after day after day after . . . . . . |

LeBron left Cleveland for Miami because no one would go to Cleveland. KD left OKC for the team that beat him because it was easy. LeBron's taken teams that have had no business being in the finals to the finals twice in his career. KD hasn't done that, yet. LeBron returned to Cleveland and won a ring. KD likely won't return to OKC in the foreseeable future. Giannis, Porzingis, Davis, Towns, IMO, could be players that could challenge LeBron in the future. |

Durant is also a far, far inferior passer and defender to LeBron. Durant is better than Drexler, but it's about as ridiculous of a comparison as the MJ-Clyde comparisons before the '92 Finals.

If KD went 10-1 in championships (never going to happen) and broke all the scoring records yes he would probably be the GOAT. That goes for any player btw.

The gulf between these two is absolutely massive and we shouldn't forget that next week when Golden State wins yet another title/Durant likely wins another Finals MVP. |

LeBron is better than Durant, but it's not because of his finals appearances or anything like that. It's simply because he's a better player. Posted via Mobile Device |

I think Lebron will pass Kareem, but I thought Kobe would as well. At the conclusion of his 11th season, LeBron had 23,170, Durant has 20,913. It all depends on if Durant can stay healthy, LeBron's health and how long each of them play. I would not bet money Durant passing Lebron, primarily because even when LeBron was a part of the big 3, he still scored more than Durant in GS and Durant is not as durable.

And I think you are dismissing LeBron's first finals appearance in which he faced a very good team that made 6 consecutive ECF. KD making his first appearance with OKC is fine and all, but he had Westbrook, Ibaka, and Harden. LeBron had Zydrunas Ilguaskas. |

Nah. Lebron was outplayed by Jason ****ing Terry.
Besides, this is whole Brady/Lebron thing is silly and apples to oranges. There’s 21 other guys on the field in football, and you’re talking about 8 years to 2. Not to mention one guys is 40, while the other is 33. |

I am saying that what LeBron's done would not have been replicated by Durant if he had played in the East. LeBron in Miami would have beaten OKC with Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, and Harden consistently. Quote:
