Oh, you mean the game where the ref blew dead the sack-strip-forced fumble by Derrick Thomas?

Look at all those happy Chiefs in minute 21! And that awesome music. The 1983 Kansas City Chiefs were, wait for it, "Taking Wing"!

Mad Dog had Bryan Busby on his radio show earlier this week and Busby just texted him with the updated weather forecast…

Coldest kickoff temperature in the history of Arrowhead… 0 degrees actual temperature, negative 22 degrees feels like temperature w/ the wind chill.

Any one who is sitting out there in that… God speed.

At least the players have the heated field and industrial heaters on the sidelines.

What the heck was the deal with that ref at the beginning? He ran out of that huddle like someone just ripped the nastiest fart ever.

The big torches they fire up as the players run out of the tunnel need to be lit up about every 5 minutes to help keep the fans warm. Those things put off some big time heat.

I think that was the game I was at too. My wife said no more cold games after that one. It was pretty miserable.

They don't do that anymore. It sucks, all they do is smoke now. Think the NFL outlawed it after some team (Rams?) lit their field on fire before a game that caused a delay a few years ago.

Really? That sucks! I've been at cold weather games before and when they fired those things up it was a heat wave.
