Trade up options

Credit to Pest in the lounge.

Would you give up next years 1 and 29 to get up high enough to take Johnson?

How much do you want to bet that they don't trade up into the top 10 picks for Jameson Williams?

Bc we aren’t. We still have 6 picks in the next 3 rounds. Also forgot we have a lot of picks next year too.

Also Brett Veach.

Do you really think Brett isn’t trading up? You know he is.

It’s called acceptance

That’s the same argument I was making yesterday though.

You’ve done a complete 180.

What guarantees that Veach is trading up? Because he’s been aggressive in the past?

When has he been aggressive this entire offseason?

He hasn’t had resources to be aggressive. Money has been an issue. Now he’s got more draft picks than anybody. He’s got 8 in the first 4 rds.

He’s going to be aggressive. It’s going to happen

Once again. What do you want to bet that he doesn’t trade up into the top 15 picks for Williams?

Okay? Williams, Wilson, Olave or a DE. That’s my guess.

I severely doubt Veach is just gonna sit there and wait to pick at 29 and 30.

But WHEN is Veach going to be aggressive, and HOW aggressive is he going to be? That's the $1 million question.

I can see a scenario where the Chiefs move UP from 29 to the low 20s (20, 21, 23 all seem reachable). And then sit at 30 or trade back for some more value. And then move UP from 50 and up from 62 and up from 93.

That’s more along the lines of aggressive that I’m expecting to see from Veach. He’s not going to just blow his load to move up 20 spots for one dude.

Yup, if he trades up, it will by outside of the top 15 IMO.

There's gotta be some plan at DE other than "wait and take who falls".

there's been zero talk about them linked to a DE.
