Drafting Offensive Line

I was told it wasn't necessary. Draft them in the 6th and 7th round and pick up the rest off the bargain bin in free agency. O-Line doesn't matter when you have Mahomes.

Now do you guys understand?

Pat can't do this alone.

Remember how Mahome texted Veach last year wanting them to pick CEH?

Yeah, there’s no doubt what he’s asking for this year.

I'm still mad about this. With the exception of the Doc and Damian worried about his Mom all these other pussies were worried about squat. It would almost be poetic justice next summer he comes back and he ends up getting cut.

Do you know how we all know you don't know what you are talking about?

The fact that Fisher is the 8th highest paid LT in 2021 and his APY is 16th.
Most LTs are making $20M APY now.
So you are wrong in your assessment.

Not gonna bitch about Clyde. He was actually one of the few who balled out last night. Besides we needed a RB.

The only thing I wonder about is whether Damien opts out if he's the man returning in 2020. Hard to say, but I feel like he saw the writing on the wall and decided to save the mileage.

Once we build our OL, I do think Clyde will be really good.

While I thumbs-upped you, I've been told that Mahomes is a mobile QB so no OL is needed. Or something like that.

I figure we've got about 3 more years of peak Hill and Kelce.

CEH should only get better and be more useful in all phases.

Yeah, we need another receiver, blah, blah. That's not why we just got our asses kicked.

If we could actually be a more balanced offense (like 60/40), we would be unstoppable.

We would need an actual offensive line. We gotta get it done this offseason.

We need both. Go back and watch the plays where we had more blockers. Nobody could get open.

Poetic Justice? What the ****?

Niang suffered a torn hip labrum during his senior year at TCU and didn't have surgery until November 2019, which has at least a 1 year recovery time before being back at 100%. Even if he had returned sometime late last season, how effective do you think he'd be without OTA's, Minicamps or Training Camp, let alone, a full year removed from playing football?

The Chiefs didn't invest millions into Niang, only to cut him before he ever suited up, especially considering they have his rights for four full years.

Listening to Petro this evening and his questions to Reid etc sounds like they are going to "fix" the offense

There is absolutely no reason why Hill can't play at a high level until well into his 30's.

Look no further than Emmanuel Sanders, who's 33 years old and still putting up great numbers.

Or, we can go back a little further and compare him to Steve Smith, who played at a high level until he finally retired at age 36.

When you have $.5B tied up in your QB they're going to need to shop (more) wisely.

More runs with some PA mixed in as well. They only had 2 dts on the field last night.

You have to draft at minimum 2 O Linemen with the first 3 picks. You can always get a servicable receiver in free agency. Unless a can't miss DE or Linebacker is available in the first, we have to draft OL. If a guy like Cosmi is available you jump and grab him. No second thoughts. If a Leatherwood or Dickerson become available late in the 2nd, you grab them.
