Brand New Idol Society (BiS) - Idol is Dead - CD
The album that started the whole underground idol movement and basically made larger labels realize that alt - idol could make money. BiS' major label debut put in new songs plus hits from their indie days. The album also set the tone for what BiS was: experimental, confrontational, and shocking at the time. Idol is Dead pushed the boundaries of what the Idol system and genre could be. Last edited by GloucesterChief; 09-20-2018 at 08:03 PM.. |

This, right now
I'll never forget how mind blowing and revolutionary these guys were early on Decatur, Il 1986... Master of Puppets was blowing up, and I caught the 3rd show of their very first headlining tour there... no seating just crowd the stage, and I was right there in front, mouth agape After their break, Cliff Burton handed me his extra large red solo cup of beer, having watched me and a buddy smoke some weed This first effort is just SO blistering and raw, music like this shocked my Crue/Ratt loving ears |

Listening to some Glen Campbell and Some Girls from Stones. That was my favorite 8 track back in the day.

I think Tattoo You is excellent as well. I have found those to be underrated components of The Stones catalog. Man, we partied to those albums all the time back in college. |

When I saw them live about 10 years ago I kept telling our group I hope they play Little T & A but was not confident they would with such a huge catalog.
Much to my surprise they did play it and made my night that much better. |
