Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

Drafting and grooming a QB is how you get franchise talent. I'm supposed to get excited about a 29-year old QB with a history of concussions? We've been sold that story before. Not buying it this time. |

Great we have another QB that the only way we can win is to have a #1 type of defense, #1 type of running attack along with one of the best Olines in the game. Yeehaaa.

People need to start accepting the reality that Alex Smith is our unquestioned starter, at least for the 2013 season. And probably longer. |

Gave alex playbook Drafted Kap Signed alex Smith won 13 for the 9ers, but I guess the chiefs will never be able to put a team together good enough to eleviate smith to 13 wins and the NFL championship game. I don't see how sucking helps a team win superbowls? High draft picks are the fools gold of people that have a losing mentality. |

If you can develop those things, think of how smooth the transition to a young talented player could be? You don't think Reid can develop a QB, or get the most out of one????

Unfotunately, 90% of Super Bowl winning QB's are drafted with a high pick in the first round, moron. |

Hey dude. The only way to draft a Manning, Luck or someone like that anymore is with the first pick in the draft. You can get that by giving up 3 to 5 years of 1st rounders or you can lose a lot of games to get that kind of player. Without that kind of player we will never win anything of any meaning.

It's a good thing that we're getting 28 year old Alex Smith and not rookie Alex Smith
