I see a lot of "won't do as much without a great QB"

he still had an almost 1200 yard season with Alex Smith in his 2nd season. He's a great player, his stats won't decline thaaat much. A little ya, but he is still going to get his.

Totally agree. Tua is better than Alex Smith and he made Smith look like a very competent deep ball QB. Hill and Waddle are gonna be very scary and Hill will absolutely perform.

Ya I don't think Tyreek will have much of a drop off. He's really good at beating people off the line and Tua is one of the best QBs in the game at getting the ball out quick. So there's going to be a lot less of the 70 yard bombs and a lot more of the 10 yard slants that go for 70 yards.

He hasn't proven that yet, sadly.

Tyreek is in for a rude awakening. He will still make a LOT of plays but 1400-yard, 15 TD seasons are in the rearview mirror.

Whoa whoa woah. Tua has the potential to be better than Alex, but so far he’s a game manager that’s much more mistake prone than veteran Alex.

Compare Alex Smiff vs Tua playoff appearances.

He's got speed. Reid loves those types of WRs and he knows how to use them in multiple ways.

He will do well here I'm sure.

We'll see. The fact that he signed a 10-year contract when he truly had no reason to do so leads me to believe that's not in his character, but it will probably hinge on his performance, the QB market, and our team's success over the next few years.

LOL Alright, man, I was just messing with you. You can let that go.

What they're saying isn't wrong, though. Alex had years of decent-to-pretty good QB play while Tua is still largely unproven.

Tua is not better than Smith. Tua sucks balls and Hills numbers will drop.

A lot of us are like hahaha Tua sucks (which he kind of does)

After next season I wonder how people will feel if Tom Brady goes to Miami

He won't go to Miami. He has a cushy division and conference. Miami means going through the AFC. He would lose and he knows it.
