Honestly he looked lazy on that play. Andy looked enraged after that play too so I think he was thinking the same thing
You know it was a mental mistake because honestly, I don't think he got a SINGLE foot inbounds.

I haven't seen the replay yet, but on the jumbotron it looked like he didn't even get his first foot in, let alone his 2nd. He was COMPLETELY lost on the field. If it was something where he just failed to execute a bit, he gets one foot down and goofs up the drag with his 2nd foot.

But when he doesn't even get a single foot down and the 2nd foot wasn't even a drag attempt but rather just an ordinary step backwards, he clearly didn't know where he was on the field.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just a snowball effect mentally after that sideline **** up, especially if Reid ripped into him like it appeared he wanted to. He was a focal point of the first 15 plays then seemingly got banished to the shadow realm for tonight. Dust it off, learn from it, and it'll be all good.

He was barely out of bounds. Like, the side of his right foot. Everything else was in.

He’s not just great at speed, assholes. He’s also excellent at tracking the ball down the field.

Tyreek was electric to watch for his speed. He was elite because he was the best in the game at tracking the ball down the field.

Worthy isn’t Reek, but he’ll get there. He can be useful. He’s already been useful.

True. But he doesnt look all that super fast in pads. Hardman looks faster... Regardless, I think he'll work out fine when its all said and done.

Here’s the replay. Just a bad mental error. He was falling back catching the ball too. Gotta know the sideline is there and stay in bounds. Should have been an easy TD

This is a rookie thing though. It’s mental and not ability. This is easy to fix

No, both feet were out for sure. Just an exceptionally lazy play. I'm sure Andy had a discussion with him

That may be a bit of an optical illusion caused by running style, because he's obviously faster than Hardman. For example, Pacheco is a 4.4 guy, but to me he never looks like it because of his "stomping" running style.

He’s getting open and he’s catching the ball. Worthy just needs to keep working on details and feeling where he is in the sideline.

I've noticed a phenomenon with our perception of Chiefs rookies recently. We seem to expect so much of them coming out of the gate, way more so than in the years before Mahomes. We want these guys looking like 3 year vets coming out of college, it's a little insane.

Feels like a combination of our expectations of these players being higher because of Veach's track record and the coaching staff as well as wanting these players to make an impact during Mahomes prime years. The threepeat probably makes matters worse.
