I wonder if he was unwilling to sign a longer deal? Even a 2 year deal would have been better. Pay him league minimum this season, plus a signing bonus that could be spread out over the life of the deal. The team should be in much better cap shape next year with Berry and Houston dead cap money being gone.

That's a nice signing.
One year for up to $4.5M. But they told me that this guy is better than Fuller 4 years $40M. He's not! Breeland is not a bad player but you'd never believe you could get this guy for one year at up to $4.5M from what I read from some posters. |
