Not being an athlete, I can't imagine how hard it is to accept that your body can't cash the checks that your mind is writing. Not being a coach, I can't imagine how hard it is to accept that a player who has done a lot of positive things for you, is not longer doing those things.
Again... NFL = Not For Long when you aren't performing. Thanks Dan, don't let the door hit you on your way out. Maybe one too many times he led with the head. |

All the Chiefs DBs need to run some drills where they keep their hands off the receiver on 50/50 balls and play the ball to improve their ball skills.
John Ross is not a 50/50 receiver. He is elite speed that is not a great NFL WR. Sorenson did good not to let him get behind him, but when the ball is in the air, there is no reason at all to keep contact with Ross and not go 100% for the ball. Sorenson has been really sorry this year, but all the DBs need to use their hands less and stop drawing as many penalties. I have confidence in 22, 27, 32, 35, and 38, but they need to draw less penalties using their hands and try to get more INTs. |

He will be an absolute fan favorite to beat the drum before a future big game. Richard Sherman was saved going out like this by injury.

Uhh....no. Sorensen will always be loved for coming up big in a few key moments. Beyond that, calling him a JAG is being generous. I don't hate the guy, but he won't rank in my top 50 favorite Chiefs - maybe not even top 100.

The fact that the Chiefs apparently have no better options than to continue to put Niemann and Sorensen out there (even in a reduce role in Sorensen's case) is a massive personnel failure on Veach's part.

Is it? Or is it the fact that Spags is too loyal? Does anyone really believe that Armani Watts couldn't do better?

You think instead of a 6th round pick, The Steelers would accept Sorenson and Meth Factor, and we get Ingram and Pittsburgh Dad?
